The law
Every matter sits within a legal framework — Alberta legislation, the applicable agreements, and the procedures of the courts. Our first task is to establish exactly what that framework requires and permits in your situation.
The context
A separation involves a household. A contract dispute involves a business relationship that may need to survive. A property matter may involve family. The context shapes which outcomes are actually workable.
Your goals

Our Approach
Client-centred, and deliberately multidisciplinary.
Our lawyers practise across family, civil litigation, commercial, construction, employment, insurance, property and estates matters. That breadth is intentional. A single event in a client's life rarely respects the boundaries between practice areas — a business dispute may raise employment questions, a separation may involve a company or a property.
Working across those areas means we notice the connections and address them, rather than solving one problem and leaving another to surface later.
We aim to be direct about what is achievable. Where a matter can be resolved through negotiation or a well-drafted agreement, that is usually the better path. Where it cannot, we prepare properly and advocate.
